Ally Sheedy

Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy is an American actor from the United States. Her birth date was June 13, 1962. Her film debut was with the 1983 film Bad Boys she became known as one of the Brat Pack of actors. She was also in WarGames (1983) The Breakfast Club (1985) as well as Short Circuit (1986). The performance of Sheedy in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (2000) won her the Independent Spirit Award, Best Female Actress. Ally Sheedy was born in the US and is both an actress and an author. She began her film career through the crime movie Bad Boys in the early 1980s, for which she was praised. The film was directed by Rick Rosenthal, other well-known actors like Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown and Alan Ruck also appeared. Following her success in her first film she also appeared in the comedy-drama film The Breakfast Club. The film of John Hughes, The Breakfast Club is regarded as being among the most memorable films of high school cinema. Though the budget was only $1 million, its profits surpassed the mark of $50 million. She also began appearing in a variety of TV programs, such as CBS Schoolbreak. This was her first TV appearance. It was a show for teenagers which began in April of 1980. Other shows on TV she was in include Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues. In Little Sister she makes a appearance as a guest. Also, she appears on X-Men Apocalypse a superhero film in which her role is a brief cameo. Sheedy won numerous awards in 2005 for her performance. She was also awarded by the MTV Movie Award, Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
