Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in France's Puy-de-Domme on 8 August 1976. She was oldest child of four. Audrey's parents as a dentist and a teacher, recognized and supported their daughter's passion for theater and drama at an early stage. The support they provided is more than enough for Audrey to combat her ambition to be a an animal scientist. Her rise to fame as a young actress was quick and marked by early success. In 1998 after her studies, she was a participant in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers which was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before beginning acting professionally. Tautou is a pupil of her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris as a child and studied there at young age she has since renounced her Catholic education. Now, she declares herself to be non-Catholic. She pursued a modelling career alongside her acting career and is the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc and Chanel often referred to as The Chanel Muse. Recently, at Arles Arts Festival, Arles Arts Festival she exhibited an array of photos under the name Superficial. Photography of her is primarily focused on celebrity and fame, and focuses the camera on those who scrutinized her after her meteoric rise to fame as Amelie in addition to self-portraits. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and acclaim with her big role in Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie is undoubtedly a huge box office smash internationally and praised at many award events around the globe. It's the largest French language film to ever be released on the US. The popularity of the film brought Tautou into a wide range of roles, ranging from British dramas as Dirty Pretty Things by Stephen Knight and Jean Pierre Jeunet to Hollywood's The Da Vinci Code with Tom Hanks.
